Experienced J2ME Developer Required ASAP. My client is due to launch a pioneering next generation application and already offers an award winning service that allows mobile phone users to safeguard data in a unique online community. They require a passionate J2ME Developer to join their exciting development team in the provision of cutting edge next generation solutions.
The ideal J2ME Developer will already have experience of Agile methodologies, in particular Scrum. The development environment comprises Subversion for source control, Eclipse and CruiseControl and experience of these will be essential. The ideal candidate must have proven experience of developing J2ME mobile applications and connected applications using object oriented approach, with strong design skills, ability to produce technical specifications, with experience of unit testing or test driven development.
Any experience with the following will be an added benefit- Working on Porting applications, developing applications using JSR-75 to access the PIM or using the J2ME Polish framework. Previous experience of other platforms - Symbian, Windows Mobile, Blackberry or iPhone will also be a benefit.
The suitable candidate will need to be degree educated in a computer related subject.
