Java J2SE Swing Developer required to join my well established client based in Berkshire. The Java Developer will be a key member in the growing research and development group, contributing to its product and solution development. The role will suit a Junior Developer with prior experience of working with J2SE and Swing or a Graduate who studies have been focused around J2SE and Swing. The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of Object Models in Java, Threads, Concurrency, JavaBeans, Servlets, JDBC, AJAX, JMS, RMI, Jetty, Tomcat, XML, IntelliJ, ANT, graphical programming plus an understanding of communications between systems.
Responsibilities- Research, Architect, Design and Code Review, Develop, Testing (revisions, versions and releases), Troubleshoot, Maintain and Document products and solutions. Recommend changes to the specifications, design and documentation. Act as technical liaison with stakeholders (internal and external), understand the requirements, provide solutions and be able to communicate the results using non-technical language. Reporting issues and required improvements.
The candidate will be required to be educated to degree level in computing (2:1 or higher).
The role will suit someone who is very passionate about technology and who wants to work with very advance solutions.
Salary £20,000-£30,000 depends on experience
