My client successfully supplies fully hosted online bingo applications for their customers to use under their own brand. They currently supply services to large names in the online gaming market such as; Mecca, Ladbrokes, Sky, Bet365, William Hill and the National Bingo Game Association.
Due to the growth in the market, the demand from future customers and the aspiration to break into the international market, my client is currently looking to hire an experienced J2EE Developer.
Responsibilities - Creating technical specification, designing and development of software components, ensuring high quality coding standards, maintaining and enhancing existing product code. Working with the QA and Delivery teams to ensure products are tested, installed and maintained to a high standard.
Required Experience; With EJB 3 or EJB 2, Servlets, JSP, Struts, Spring, JPA, Weblogic, UML Design Patterns, Networking Protocols (TCP or HTTP), JBoss, Web Services, Apache Tomcat, Oracle and Linux. Ideally the candidate will have come from a gaming background and be educated with a 2:1 degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Maths.
The successful candidate will be paid up to £50,000 pa and will benefit from working in a cutting edge, exciting environment.
