My client uses the latest J2EE and J2ME technologies to enable their customers to deploy mobile transactional services, specialising in mobile gaming, time critical gambling and lottery. Based in Central London, my client requires an experienced J2ME Developer to create the common software components and libraries that provide the core functionality for the application-specific GUIs produced for their customers. The successful candidate will be reviewing designs, mentoring more Junior Developers and advice the customer on the requirements. Previous experience with: J2ME Programming, API Design, GUI Component Design and MVC Architecture, Networking Protocols (HTTP, TCP, UDP), Animation and Graphics, XML, SMS, MMS and WAP will be required to be successful. Once successful the candidate will also be given the opportunity to work on other platforms including: Brew, Flash, iPhone, WAP, AJAX, Blackberry, Windows Mobile and Android. Plus an opportunity to develop your skills in multimedia, security, networking and architecture. Base salary up to £45,000 plus 10% bonus (based on personal and company performance), Flexitime, Travel Pass Loan and Subsidised Social Events.
